Elderly Woman (my grandmother)
My grandmother never considered herself a "photographer", but her thousands of pictures taken throughout my life with nothing more than a simple point-and-shoot and black-and-white prints going back to the early 1900s had a major influence on me. She never cared if she clicked the shutter or if someone else did. (Though the later was always safer because people's heads tended to be cut off otherwise!) All she wanted was the prints. My family would often spend hours sitting around the kitchen table looking through her boxes of pictures.
The majority of these images were taken in four different photo shoots during the same year of her death and represent some of the last quality time that I spent with her. I'm thankful I spent the time with her that I did and only wish we would have done more. She enjoyed these shoots so much.
All of these photos are model-released.
