About Terry

Terry Smith is a professional photographer based in Little Rock, Arkansas. His work is widely licensed as premium, rights-managed stock photography by a diverse mix of advertising, publishing, and editorial clients. His images have appeared in books, magazines, calendars, brochures, advertisements, newspapers, TV commercials, and other media in countries worldwide.

Terry started his photographic journey at age five with a top-of-the line, better-than-digital (at the time anyway) 126 film camera with a plastic Mickey Mouse on the front of it. Nineteen years later he embarked on his professional career and founded Terry Smith Images at the age of twenty-four, soon learning he needed to trade in the Mickey Mouse camera for a big fancy camera in order to be taken more seriously by girls (his own age at least).
